I would change the part where Lessig talks about European laws concering smoke, comparing them with US's one. European legislation concerning smoke has changed a lot in these years, and it is now in many states quite similar to US's one. So calling them "savagely different" might seem a little harsh. I guess we might making the comparison milder, but this would make it less effective. Removing the 3 lines doesn't seem to affect the argument at all. What do you think?
