This is yet another example of parallels between the real world and the virtual world. What happened with the came World of Warcraft is that an error on the part of programmers (creators of laws) lead to the creation of digital plague that killed the virtual inhabitatns of the world (mass extinction). Thankfully this was a virtual event for we do not want to follow dinosaurs. However in a world that is modelled by computers that make the virtual reality follow the real world (and vice versa - for example the environment of a animal farm) this is the herald of even worse news.
